Laura Sanford

Artist + MUSICIAN

About me

————————————————————————————————

Laura Sanford is an artist and musician from the Bay Area, Ca. She explores absurd and queer metaphysical world-building, and the tension between mind and body. Using tactile installations, playful performances, and visual art, she blends the whimsical with the grotesque. Though drawn to the shadows of human experience, Laura hopes to reflect child-like wonder in everything she creates. A proud Root Division alum and current studio artist at The Compound Gallery, she has exhibited work at Gray Area, Root Division, Pro Arts Gallery, Axis Gallery, and The Bay Area Discovery Museum.
